Up-Time Guarantee

Folder Hosting ® guarantees a 99.0% up-time for its servers and for connection between servers and our internet provider.

However Folder Hosting ® may sometimes perform software or hardware maintenance or upgrades, which will be announced on main page and informed by e-mail a week before planned down-time. This down-time isn't included in mentioned 99.0% because the upgrades are essential for providing the most stable services for our clients. We'll do our best to reduce the down-time as much as possible.

Data Safety Guarantee

Folder Hosting ® uses RAID mirroring system, which protects your data against hard disk failures.

Folder Hosting ® performs a full backup of your files and databases on separate server every night. Because of the vast amount of disk space needed for storing the backup copies we hold each copy just for 7 days.

Any client can send us a request to restore any file they have deleted manually and we will try to deal with such requests for an additional fee of 1$ per 10 Mb of successfully restored files. However, we cannot guarantee that all requested files will be restored.

Content Limitations

All services provided by Folder Hosting ® may be used for lawful purposes only. Storage, transfer or presentation of any information, data or material, which violate any International laws is strictly prohibited.

This includes:

• Storing or providing materials, violating some copyright law.
• Storing or providing materials, containing threats of physical violence.
• Storing or providing sexually oriented material that is offensive or inappropriate.
• Sending bulk mail without prior permission of Folder Hosting ®.
• Sending bulk mail to the people without their prior subscription to your services (i.e. SPAM).

If you unsure whether or not your site is suitable for out limitations, you may contact us and we'll check your content.

Resource Usage

The disc space for each site is limited according to the chosen hosting plan. An automatic e-mail message will be sent to you if you exceed your quota. The service allows excession of quota by up to 30%. After that any upload to your site will be denied.

Site scripts that use a lot of the CPU or RAM memory will slow down the server. It contradicts our desire to provide the fastest possible service though we reserve the right to deny such scripts and, in some cases, ask you to find another host.

Some of your scripts could be executed on periodic basis (i.e. cronjobs). If they use too much CPU or RAM resources, we will contact you and ask to remove them. In some cases we will need to disable them immediately.

Traffic limits

The traffic of each Folder Hosting ® server is limited to about 1000Gb per month. This bandwidth is equally divided between hosting accounts according to their disc space: 1Gb of disc space corresponds to approximately 20Gb of monthly transfer.

Service Suspension

Folder Hosting ® reserves the right to terminate and remove any process that violates any of our Terms of Service policies. We also reserve the right to request that you optimize any script that uses too many system resources.

Third-party products

Folder Hosting ® is only responsible for support directly related to our servers and our services. While we maintain a FAQ to deal with common third party software that may be used in conjunction with our servers and services we cannot be responsible for supporting all of the vast programs which are available.
